I first developed an interest in still photography in the mid 1970’s, but with college studies, work, family, and later my business, photography got relegated to the background. I revived my interest in the late ‘90’s and 2000’s as the pace of digital camera development picked up. Although my video cameras are Sony, I stayed with Canon for my still camera, now using the 7D Mark II model.
While I’m certainly not an Ansel Adams, Anne Leibovitz, or Joe McNally, it seems I can usually get very good results. There are types of photography I have no interest in doing, such as weddings and portraiture, but I do enjoy shooting nature and wildlife when I have time. Some of my photography is integrated into my video work.
Here’s some examples of my work. I also shot all the photos used in this website with the exception of those of my original studio. I also created the composite images used in the page banners. I use Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop as my processing software. Tell me what type of photography you need and I’ll tell you if I feel I can help you.

Centre In The Square, Kitchener Ontario
I was contracted by Horizon Solutions owner Carl Lukings to do photos of the new house lighting system Horizon sold to this performing arts centre in the fall of 2017. This is one of four published in Professional Lighting trade magazine.
